ControllerTest is designed so controller diagnostics run locally in your browser. This policy explains what the site does and does not collect.

Last updated: June 3, 2026

Local controller diagnostics

The controller test reads Gamepad API input in your browser. Button states, stick values, trigger values, drift samples, circularity paths, reports, JSON, CSV and share cards are generated on your device.

The v1 site does not create user accounts and does not intentionally upload controller diagnostic data to a server.

Operational data

Like most websites, hosting infrastructure may process basic request data such as IP address, URL, user agent, referrer and timestamps for security, debugging and delivery.

ControllerTest uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate page usage, language mix, browser classes, referrers and navigation patterns. GA4 is not used to upload controller diagnostic readings, exported reports or share-card data.

Cookies and third parties

The diagnostic tool does not require cookies to run. Google Analytics 4 may use cookies or similar storage for measurement.

External links, browser extensions, manufacturer software and third-party sites are governed by their own privacy policies.
