Buttons
Press face buttons, bumpers, stick clicks, system buttons and D-pad.
Use the live input test to inspect button presses, trigger values and analog axes. This is the fastest way to confirm whether the browser sees your game controller correctly.
Each button should light up once when pressed and turn off cleanly when released. Analog axes should return near 0.00 at rest and move smoothly toward -1.00 or 1.00 at full travel.
If a button never changes, a trigger does not reach full range, or an axis jumps while idle, run the drift and deadzone tests before deciding whether the controller needs service.
Run this quick sequence before exporting a health report or buying a used controller.
Press face buttons, bumpers, stick clicks, system buttons and D-pad.
Move both sticks through full travel and release them to center.
Pull LT/L2 and RT/R2 slowly to confirm smooth analog values.
